You can't get better coverage than the alpine ski snowsuit. Not only does this suit have long legs and easy back entry, it covers the dog's full stomach. Though this is great for female dogs with bare bellies, it's good for males too - the stomach features a removable panel to a pre-hemmed hole so a boy dog can still pee!
Though this suit has a smooth lining instead of a fuzzy one, we've found that when putting a hand inside with the dog, it retains their body heat very well. The silky lining also seems to offer a greater range of movement for the dog. Some owners claim fuzzy linings cause long haired dogs to matt more easily, so if this is a problem you have; look no further.
Since this suit has two harness hooks, you can just clip and go instead of needing to put a harness under the suit.
Though the back lengths on these suits are quite short, they fit a little differently due to the cut and the zipper running down the spine. We find dogs usually fit approximately one size up from what they usually wear (eg, a 14" dog will wear a 16).
